On March 4, a Sunday morning, a pedestrian was hit by a car in Brea and was taken to a trauma center. The crash occurred on Imperial Highway at South Puente Street.

According to a Brea Fire Department dispatcher, a second person also needed medical attention from the crash.

The second person’s condition was not immediately known, and it was not clear if the person was a pedestrian in the incident or if they were in the car.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to the crash at 10:21 a.m. on Sunday. The crash caused all lanes to close on the westbound Imperial Highway at Puente Street while police investigated for further details.
